• ConsultantWelcome to CDI's Learning Management System (LMS)

The LMS system provides convenient access, instructions and materials for students going through any of CDI’s courses and Certificate-Series. (Certificate-Series are comprised of related courses.) For more information about those, please see CDI’s website at ConsultantsDevelopmentInstitute.org .

    Three Options to Access Courses

Free Limited Access – View as Guest

You will automatically have guest access in a course, if you do not create an account, or you created an account and did not enroll (via payment or with an enrollment key). With guest access, you can access all of each course's components (listed below), except the pre-assessment, post-assessment and course evaluation survey. This type of access cannot earn a certificate in a Certificate-Series.

    Free Enrollment With Enrollment Key

You get full access to all of the course's contents. First, you must have created an account and be logged in, in order to enter the key. This type of access cannot earn a certificate in a Certificate-Series. To apply, email info@consultantsdevelopmentinstitute.org .

    Enrollment With Payment

You get full access to all of the course's contents. First, you must have created an account and be logged in, in order to enter payment. This type of access includes individual attention from faculty. It is required when earning a certificate in a Certificate-Series.

    Create an Account?

If you want to enroll (access via payment or enrollment key), then you will need to create a new account. Your account information will not be shared with anyone other than the CDI faculty of the courses or Certificate-Series that you are enrolled in.

    Maximize Learning Across Course Components

Each course's components combine to provide a state-of-the-art, diverse and enriched learning experience. Each course includes:

    1. Pre-assessment of your current level of learning about the topic of the course before you complete the course. Helps you to set a benchmark for measuring your new learning at the end of the course.
      (Optional)
    2. Learning and Development Journal to enhance your learning before, during and after the course. Research shows that adults learn best when reflecting on new knowledge and experiences. The Journal guides you to do that in the course.
      (Required for paid Certificate-Series)
    3. Handouts to reference during the video. Each has practical guidelines you can easily download and apply. Can share with others, as well.
      (Required for paid Certificate-Series.)
    4. Video, including clear and specific guidelines, questions and exercises for reflection and learning. Can be paused and resumed at any time.
      (Required for paid Certificate-Series)
    5. Suggested sources for additional learning, including interactive exercises, free online articles, suggested books, questions for discussion and reflection, and a vast range of free resources about consulting.
      (Optional)
    6. Post-assessment of your level of new learning about the topic from having taken the course. Includes multiple-choice questions about the content of the course. Grades your answers and shows correct answers, as well.
      (Required for paid Certificate-Series)
    7. Course evaluation survey about the quality of the course. The evaluation activity itself spawns reflective questions that also enhance your learning.
      (Requested of enrolled students)
